Barcelona is a city which has over 55 museums in Barcelona covering a plethora of subjects including art, history, architecture, science, sports, war and maritime.

Must See Museums in Barcelona

  After eating delicious food in my Barcelona Hotels, i went to visit the Maritime Museum which is one of the most visited museum in Barcelona, which covers the period 1750 to 1850. This museum is situated Opposite the statue Christopher Columbus, in the bottom of Ramblas. Here i visited its animated presentations and a big exhibition including model ships, drawings, replicas, paintings, figureheads and an interactive exhibition, “The Great Adventure of the Sea”. Overall i can say that maritime museum is one of the most imaginative museum of the city.

  After that i went to visit and enjoy the Catalan National Art Museum which is housed in a magnificent palace, which overlooking the fountains of Montjuic. Here i also find the Catalan works of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance arts from 11th to 18th century. This was a great museum which houses the complete history of Catalan art. After that i went to my hotel which is a Hotal Arc La Rambla which is a three star reservar hotel Barcelona. This charming hotel is located between the Rambla and Paseo Marítimo. The hotel is situated in a beautiful building which is very close to the shopping area, modern Villa Olimpica and Trade Centre.

  Next day i went to visit the Picasso Museum which is also one of the best museum in Barcelona and it is located in the heart of the old city on the Carrer Moncada and the five medieval palaces linked together to make a museum. Here i visited genius young artists, more than 3500 works that make up the permanent collection. The Museum also has a set of 42 pieces of ceramic (vases, dishes and plates) made in the 1950s and bequeathed by Jaqueline Picasso in 1982. I also heard lots of about Brussels and Berlin, that is why i am also interested to visit Museums in Brussels and Museums in Berlin.

Madrid to Sevilla and Valencia

After enjoying in Madrid, i also enjoyed Sevilla and Valencia, those are also very interested and beautiful cities in Barcelona. I spend weekend in Sevilla hotel and three days in hotel Valencia. While i was enjoying in Sevilla Hotel i found that Sevilla is the artistic, cultural, and financial capital of southern Spain and it is located on the plain of the River Guadalquivir. Sevilla is also enjoyable city and the principle Moorish and Gothic buildings in the old quarter of Seville are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After vacationing in hotels in Sevilla, i went to enjoy in Valence hôtelwhich is also a beautiful city of Spain and it is also a third largest city of Spain. Valencia is also a city which is renowned for its sights, attractions, monuments, gardens and parks. The city is also a birthplace of very famous people which includes Pope Alexander VI, Ausias March, Pope Callixtus III, King James II of Aragon and many more. Valencia is also a famous tourist destination which attract thousands of tourists to spend vacations in Hotels Valencia.
